This policy explains what data the Neon Payoff Planner website collects, where that data lives, and the choices you have. The short version: the calculator runs entirely in your browser, your card inputs stay on your device, and the only third parties involved are advertising services like Google AdSense.

What this website is

Neon Payoff Planner is a static website. It has no login, no account system, no database, and no backend server that receives your inputs. When you add cards, the math happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you type into the calculator is transmitted to us or to any server we control.

Local storage

To make the calculator convenient to revisit, the site saves your card entries, monthly debt budget, balance transfer fee, strategy choice, and interface language in your browser's localStorage. This data:

• Stays on the device and browser where it was entered.
• Is not synced across devices, because there is no server to sync with.
• Can be removed at any time with the "Clear saved data" button, or by clearing site data in your browser settings.

If you use private or incognito mode, local storage is typically discarded when you close the window, so nothing persists.

CSV exports

When you download a payoff schedule as CSV, the file is generated in your browser and saved directly to your device. The download does not pass through our servers.

Advertising and cookies

This website displays advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. These advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to display, measure, and improve ads. Specifically:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Blocking or deleting cookies does not break the calculator itself. The payoff math never depends on advertising cookies.

Analytics and logs

We do not run our own analytics scripts on this site. If the hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as request times or IP addresses for security and abuse prevention), those logs are controlled by the hosting provider under its own privacy policy and are not used to build profiles about calculator users.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adults managing their own credit card accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the calculator does not transmit personal data to us, there is no account for a child to create in the first place.

Your choices

• Use the "Clear saved data" button to erase stored cards and settings instantly.
• Clear this site's localStorage and cookies through your browser settings.
• Use the ad industry opt-out links above to limit personalized advertising.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be described in plain language.
